PROBLEM STATEMENT
- JEBA is an online virtual autos showroom infused with a digital marketplace. Their goal is to provide an online marketplace that would allow users to purchase cars from the comfort of their homes. The brand incorporates virtual reality for enhanced user experience. We had an assignment to create an identity that communicates the idea of virtual reality, automobile, and tech. The brand identity should resonate with a tech-inclined, youthful and modern audience, and the brand should be favourably positioned as a disruptive brand.
SOLUTIONS APPROACH
- We focused on the keywords: "tech", "automobile", "modern" and "youthful". These keywords guided our decisions around the kind of typography (font style) and colours to adopt for the brand. Considering the length of the brand name, the industry, and the target audience, we decided to go with a wordmark type of logo which helped us to make the brand identity really simple, and easily adaptable. Looking at the wordmark itself, you would see a sleek, friendly tech font with a car illusion around the ‘b’ and ‘a’. Looking at it from a different perspective, the ‘b-a’ wordplay depicts a VR glasses which communicates the idea of "virtual reality for an enhanced user experience".
