PROBLEM STATEMENT
- The Mommy Collections is targeting moms and pregnant ladies, especially in Switzerland. Most women in that group are only able to find simple (and often boring) wears in the country. So our products should offer them practicality, comfort AND aesthetics. The brand promises to help women retain their femininity and sexiness even during pregnancy and maternity. As an agency, we had to assignment of bringing this promise to life through their visual identity.
SOLUTIONS APPROACH
- In order to capture this message in a way that resonates with the unique audience, we captured the keywords, "love", "warmth", "care" and "attractiveness". As a matter of fact, these are the goals of every married woman and they form the basis for their emotional needs even during pregnancy and maternity. In a way to communicate this, we used the figure of a pregnant woman encapsulated in a rounded rectangle with the love shape. Rounded corners (and shapes) are known to portray gentleness, calmness, friendliness and protection. They help to improve aesthetics and they are easier on the eyes.
