We needed to set up the HR-Tech platform to be a robust hub for companies in need of talents and talents in need of jobs. The platform is to help companies create job boards, get people to submit their applications, and allow for seamless in-app communication between the talents and the companies among other essential modules.
We needed to set up the HR-Tech platform to be a robust hub for companies in need of talents and talents in need of jobs. The platform is to help companies create job boards, get people to submit their applications, and allow for seamless in-app communication between the talents and the companies among other essential modules.
We built the platform to ensure companies can register and update their profiles. Talents can register and update their profiles. Both user types have public profiles and private portals for managing their accounts.
Companies can post job vacancies. Talents can see job vacancies generally and also see vacancies belonging to individual companies, and then apply to them.
Companies can see the list of applications received and talents can see the list of applications sent. Companies also get both in-app and email notifications of applications received.
Companies can reply to applications in-app and talents can receive the notifications both in-app and via email. Companies can also edit each application response and change its status (toggle between pending, successful, or failed).
Talents can see the different applications submitted and their different statuses. And as responses are sent or status is changed, talents get all the email notifications and see the changes live on their submitted applications page.
Talents can publish several portfolio items where they share the title, the description and the associated link to each portfolio, and to every application, a talent submits their profile details and published portfolios are attached.
Companies can edit and delete published vacancies. Talents can edit and delete portfolio items and submitted applications.
We also ensured that when there's a need for the platform to be scaled into a mobile app, all the needed API endpoints are readily available.
