You can’t get loyal customers anywhere. You can only make loyal customers. No customer was born loyal. Every loyal customer was made loyal. The more the unmet needs of people, the more their tendency of turning away from you. Another thing is, the more your competition is visually enticing and harassing your clients, the more they are likely to want to try someone else.
This is why I often say, “the quality of things you did that drew men to you yesterday may not be sufficient enough to keep them with you today.” Of course, this post is not to discourage you! I really want to help you, but I can’t do that without telling you the very obvious truth.
So, what is the truth?
You’re looking for loyal customers right? You already have them! The last person who purchased from you is the answer! Can I tell you something? No one really cares who is the best in the world. What people are looking for is, “can you solve my own problem and help me reach my next goal?” If you can always do that, no one cares whether you’re the best or not.
Your real loyal customers are those who were deeply satisfied and happy with how you treated them last. They are your really loyal customers. Anyone who was not really satisfied with your last service is a customer you should suspect. That person is just probably managing you until he/she sees a better option. You can only keep them by becoming that better option really quick.
So, you want more loyal clients? Take a record of all the people who have patronized you this year. See how you can entice, satisfy and impress them again. They are your loyal customers. No first time buyer is a loyal customer. It’s the first-time experience that determines what they become – loyal or disloyal.
